It was in a peaceful location short walk to a restaurant and whale tour wharf, the sea and the East Coast Trail. Besides, we wanted to visit Oh Canada eh Dinner show, that was not very far from the hotel. The bedroom was beautiful and clean. And there was a great view of the bay.

Our stay at Whale House Guest House was beyond amazing. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled right on the East Coast trail. We had the Humpback suite, which was private, cozy, and well-equipped. After a day of hiking, the hot tub was a luxurious treat. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fork just down the road. The room had everything we needed and more, with quality shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap provided. The shower stall was new with great water pressure. The kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to prepare our own meals and even use the outdoor BBQ. We were pleasantly surprised to find instant porridge, cookies, flavored seltzer, tea, and coffee available. The common space outside offered a slight view of the bay through the trees and provided a peaceful, back-to-nature feel. Though there were only two settings of tableware available, the small toaster oven and microwave were sufficient for our needs. Amanda, the owner, was welcoming and promptly addressed any requests we had. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a comfortable chair and the double bed being against the wall, we had a fabulous stay. I highly recommend Whale House Guest House for a perfect coastal getaway.
